Sustainable Business

As a Print-on-Demand company we highly rely on our manufactures efforts to provide a sustainable company policy. What we can do is to choose the right partner, which we believe we have, we have chosen to work with not only one of the leading manufactures when it comes to printing quality but also a company that are working hard to provide a sustainable business model, that work hard to provide quality clothes and products while still doing it’s part to protect the environment to the best of its ability.

A sustainable business model is the future!

That’s why we are taking steps to make sure we’re part of the movement. We only produce items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction. Our printing partner’s state-of-the-art printing tech creates almost no wastewaters and uses less energy.

Our clothing is printed with the direct-to-garment (DTG) printing method. The printing tech we use is made with sustainability in mind, and our DTG printers use almost zero wastewater and less energy, lowering our carbon footprint. The inks we use for printing are water-based and free of harmful chemicals. We take care to dispose of any left-over ink according to the ink supplier guidelines, so we’re not harming the environment.

Each product you see in our catalog is made on-demand, which means once you place the order, we start working to get it to you. It takes time for us to create and send out the product, but making each order on-demand allows us to avoid overproduction. This way we’re all part of the sustainable fashion movement.

Some of our products, such as “Bella + Canvas” and some “Next Level” shirts are made with sustainability in mind. These and our products labeled “Eco” and “Organic” are items made with eco-friendly materials.

We are working forward to do even more!

That being said we are not fully there yet, we still got challenges to became a fully sustainable and environment friendly company, although our printing partners have made a lot of efforts to use environment friendly products and printing technics, there is still a lot to be desired when it comes to packaging your products.

First off, as a Print-on-Demand company with multiple printing facilities around the world, some products are made and shipped from different locations and secondly some of the packaging itself is made of plastic (read the quote below), so we are sure when you, the customer, gets a product it haven’t suffered during the shipment process.

“We try to do our best to minimize waste in packaging and source eco-friendly packaging materials. Many of our packaging materials are either recyclable or biodegradable. Bubble wraps are made from a minimum of 15% recycled plastic and 10% post-consumer content. Our kraft tubes are made from 70-100% post-consumer recycled content and 0-30% secondary recycled content.”

But our partners are looking into new and even more environment friendly solutions, this is a long process and we have to be patient – we hope you are to.

“As of May 2021, we’ve started using recycled content plastic packaging for all apparel orders in the in-house facilities. The recycled content share in our packaging varies between facilities, but it’s at least 50% for the outer packaging and at least 30% for inner bags (only used for multi-item shipments).”
